Tank cleaning is a continuous process after desludging in order to offer the internal surface of the tank for further inspection. Our skilled personnel utilize the high pressure jet pumps to make sure the tanks are clean and ready to be offered for inspection.

When physical access is not desirable or possible, chemical cleaning is the preferred method for removing unwanted substances from polluted surfaces. Chemical decontamination or de-gassing eliminates the presence of explosive gases, Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S), mercury, benzene and pyrophoric material in process equipment and is much faster and far more effective than conventional methods, such as using steam alone.

The cleaning process requires particular care in order not to cause any harm to the environment. ALMEN has always been keen to ensure that every task – including tank cleaning is done under full environmental awareness.
